Step 1: Read the article and watch the videos provided under resources.
Step 2: Students will need to recreate a map of black wall street using a coordinate plane. Be sure to make all buildings the same size, label them, and think about the congruency properties.
Step 3: Using the map created during the math portion, identify how the fire traveled and why.
Step 4: Find pictures to represent the beginning, middle, end, and aftermath (be sure to include pictures of the new Black Wall Street) of the Massacre.
Step 5: Arrange your pictures chronologically including the Map you created.
