Student Stakeholder Survey
Student Stakeholder Survey

The Student Stakeholder Survey is designed for students in grades 3-12.  The survey is divided into three sections: a demographic section, an elementary school (grades 3-5) section, and a middle/high school (grades 6-12) section.  One of the demographic questions asks the students for their current grade level.  The answer to that question determines which questions the student views. The survey takes approximately five (elementary) to ten (middle/high) minutes to complete.
Edulog Parent Portal
DeKalb County School District announced today the launch of the Edulog Parent Portal smartphone app. The app is designed to give parents and guardians information about their child’s school bus ride.

The app allows parents and guardians to follow their child’s bus on a real-time map and stay up-to-date with notifications when that bus nears the bus stop, the school, or a custom alert zone. Parents and guardians only receive access by registering with data unique to their child.

How to Get Up and Running:

1 – Review the “Getting Started” video

2 – Download the app, sign up, and check your email to authenticate

3 – Enter your student’s student number

4 – See your student’s bus stop time and location

5 – Locate your school bus and receive alerts

Mentor Program

Greetings RMS Parents and Guardians,

We are excited to announce DCSD has a virtual (email & text message only) mentoring platform for our Middle and High School Students!!  All DCSD Middle and High school students are eligible to join the Mentoring platform called Student Success Agency.  I have attached two parent flyers, a handbook on the program, a power point presentation and the parent consent form the student will have to upload to SSA.

The mentors will communicate with the students by email and text message.  This is not a face-to-face mentoring program.

The agency provides:

  1. Mentors (they call them agents)
  2. On-Demand Tutoring
  3. On Demand Homework Help
  4. Guidance on financial aid and FAFSA Processes
  5. College and Career Advising
  6. Job Application Assistance
  7. Life Skill Development

SSA has been provided a list of all DCSD middle & high school students by school and are ready to sign students up

  1. Your scholar's first step is to text "AGENT" to 214-544-9204, which will connect them with an onboarding team
  2. Please review the documents below:  flyer, parent brochure, slides from 2/23/21 meeting and how to get an SSA Agent
  3. The student will then submit the digital parent consent form (attached).
